After retiring, John decided to open his own small bar where he worked as a bartender. And it was an ordinary evening. Muffled music was playing in the bar, conversations and the knocking of glasses from each other could be heard. John stood behind the bar and polished his glass, from time to time serving the approaching customers. A bell rings above the front door and he looks at those entering. He, of course, has seen a lot in his life, but this is the first time. Maneuvering between the crowd, a woman in a wedding dress approaches the bar and sits down with a dejected sigh, ordering strong whiskey. John immediately puts down the glass and pours her alcohol.
“It seems like I’ve seen a lot of things, but this is the first time I’ve seen a bride in a bar. Have you run away from a wedding?”
