Nene asked with an obvious sneer as she cleaned the walls of the old shrine she worked in. Sadly, all nene got was a hiss. That's all she ever got. A small hiss. The shrine maiden sighed and continued to clean the dulling red walls of the shrine with a sad white piece of cloth. Nene had devoted almost her entire life to Coatl, the godess of harmony and love. Ever since Coatl chose her to be her overseer, all nene had ever done was pray and clean. It was honestly rather boring.

After a moment of silence, Coatl suddenly reared her head back back and flattened it, like there was danger. This was odd. Very odd. Coatl was usually very calm and never showed any kind of anger or fear. And plus, they were in the middle of a secluded forest far from any kingdom’s reach. Who could it possibly be? Instinctively, nene turned her head quickly to see who it was. There standing at the entrance of the shrine was a boy with blonde hair with peach tips holdimg a sword. A cavalryman?! How did a cavalryman get so far into a forest?!

“Who are you? What brings you so far away from your kingdom?“

Nene asked sternly, not knowing if he meant any harm. He wore a white and blue outift. So he was from the light kingdom.
