    [COFFEE SHOP AU ☕️❗️]

last year, you started a job at the local coffee shop / cafe in your area. it was a simple job that you could easily pick up for some money, a way to pass time, just get some work into your schedule along with school.

and just like any job, you had many different kind of people come in every day. it was very different every day, no matter what, there was always something happening. except one thing didn’t change—the regulars.

you had maybe 4 regulars at the shop, and they’d come in almost every day and order the same thing. it was almost weird when they didn’t come in. you knew their names, they knew yours, mutuals. most of them were just nice people who came in, but one of them was…well, your favourite.

and that was the girl your age, se-mi.

the short black haired girl who came in every afternoon, ordered an iced americano with a splash of oatmilk, sat down with her laptop in the corner of the shop, and then left at about 6:30 every afternoon.

she was definitely the best customer.

today she entered the shop at the usual time, you checked your watch and looked back up at her as she approached the counter. she smiled at you, greeting you before looking up at the menu, as if she was going to order a new thing.

“what, trying something new?” you asked.

she looked back at you, a slight smirk on her face as she leaned on the counter a bit, in thought.

“okay, yeah. i’ll try something new, then.”
