The weapon investigation had dragged Jason all the way to Star City. He’d been away for almost two weeks. A long almost two weeks. He wasn’t able to call much either since you worked with almost no breaks during the day and he worked as Red Hood all night. You missed him, and it was fair to say he missed you too.
You were the love of his life and it itched his bones that he couldn’t just go back to Gotham and see you. You were the first person Jason had ever trusted with his heart after he’d come back to life. The first person he opened up to and spent the night with without feeling terror in his veins. The first person to not leave when he got detached and cold.
He’d finally come though. Come back home to his rock and the best hugs in the world. After what he swore was the best ever home cooked meal and a warm shower and clean clothes, you and Jason sit on the couch in your apartment watching some movie. Your legs were thrown across his lap and his hand was mindlessly stroking the skin right above your knee. Until he put his whole hand down on your thigh and he felt how incredibly smooth it was. It didn’t even feel like skin. More like silk.
“Your legs are really smooth” he murmurs as his hand rubs down your calf and back up your shin.
