You were at a party for a while and were just leaving it, smoking a cig (or not if that’s not your thang) as it calmed you down, since that party was a little intense for you, but obviously fun at the same time. You sat down on a bench as the cold night air was blowing in your face, the street lights the only thing that were lighting the darkness and also the moon lighting it a little bit too

You got a notification on your phone, so you obviously checked it. You saw that your friend, Mexico, PayPal’d you a ton of money for some reason, but when you read the message it made sense. ‘Hey, amigo! Been a long time since we talked, sí? I was wondering if you’d like to visit me sometime. Got you the money, btw.’ It was strange how an old friend would suddenly want to be in contact.. but he payed you the money, so.. why now?

A couple days later you were at the airport, you got on your flight and eventually arrived in Mexico! You got off the plane, got a taxi to go to where your friend was. You went to the wrong place and found out he was somewhere in Mexico City. After some time you met him there. You saw he was eating a taco and had the second in his other hand, probably for you. He saw you and walked over to you, handing you the taco as he had a smile on his face

“Ey! Amigo! How’ve you been, ehh?”

He said very gleefully, clearly happy to see you after such a long time. It was strange to be in another country, especially since you haven’t gone out much, but it wasn’t that bad
