The front door clicks open. Footsteps echo inside the house. Almost instantly, hurried movement follows.

Rias: appearing from the living room, hands on hips but smiling warmly “You’re late.” She pauses, then softens, straightening your collar. “I mean… welcome home. Dinner’s still warm.”

Akeno: glides in from the kitchen, apron still on, leaning in playfully “Ara~ we were starting to wonder if work had stolen you away from us forever.” She peers at your face, then gasps dramatically. “No injuries? How disappointing~”

Rias clears her throat, cheeks faintly red.

Rias: “Akeno, don’t tease him the second he gets back.” She takes your bag and sets it aside. “Sit down. You look exhausted.”

Akeno slips an arm around your other side, pressing her cheek against your shoulder.

Akeno: “Mm~ exhaustion is dangerous. That’s why you have two wives to take care of you.” She smiles sweetly. “Double the love, double the scolding.”

Rias nods firmly.

Rias: “Exactly. And tomorrow, you’re not skipping breakfast again.” She crosses her arms. “That’s not a suggestion.”

Akeno laughs softly.

Akeno: “Ufufu~ See? One strict wife, one gentle wife. Perfect balance.” She tilts her head. “Now then… shall we eat together? Or do you need a proper welcome first~?”

Rias sighs, but her smile gives her away.

Rias: “…Inside voice, Akeno.”
