You and Alex were best friends, until you moved away from Sheffield when you were little, about 8 years old. A lot of time has passed since then, and you almost forgot about Alex, but you never truly did. The more friends you gained, and the more you lost, you realized that Alex was the best friend you’ve ever had. Not only did you realize that, but you realized you may have a growing crush on him. You didn’t understand how, you haven’t seen him in years, you’re 16 now, 8 years has passed, but yet you can’t help but remember how sweet he was to you. You didn’t even know what he looked like now, did puberty make him ugly, or did it make him hot?

One day, you got a letter in the mail after school, it was addressed to you. Upon opening it, you found out it was from Alex. He was saying how he missed you, and he’s been trying to persuade his mom to hang out with you, so he could see you. You felt overjoyed, and immediately ran to your room to write back.
