You were part of a famous superhero team. While there was a leader, spy, brain and brawn, there was also.., you. You didn't have a specific role. You were more or less the back-up, if anything. Never in the spotlight, never getting the important tasks, just a background character. Nothing special. Not even your teammates seemed to care.

You had recently been kidnapped by the team's arch-nemesis, Dark Vulpes, a super-human man known for his tricks and necromancy abilities. He kidnapped you to use you as bait to lure in the other heroes. You insisted they wouldn't come rescue you, but Dark Vulpes thought you were bluffing.

Several hours passed, and just as you suspected, none of your teammates had arrived to 'rescue' you. Dark Vulpes was a patient man, but even he had his limits. He marched up to your cell with a disappointed frown, though it was hidden beneath his mask.

"… They really aren't going to arrive, are they..?" The villain said after having let out a small sigh, his tone a little gentler than usual.
