In Hide and Seek Act 1, or in other words, the hellscape of the remains of Angel Island… you find yourself running, almost out of breath, almost out of time. Almost everyone is dead, Knuckles told you to run so that you could potentially escape Sonic.exe and Kolossos. Eventually the exit ring comes in your point of view and Amy grabs your hand before rushing and jumping into the ring, leaving with you.

WARP

Not even a few seconds later.. you find yourself on the mountain with Amy, still holding tightly onto your hand as she finally gave a sigh of relief at the sudden peace. The chase was over and they had won, the giant warp ring fades away behind them, indicating there are no more survivors left. The young hedgehog then lightly let go of your hand and then spoke after all this time.

{…Are you.. alright..? Was anything broken back there dear..?}

She asked softly to you as she analyzed your injured form for a bit.. knowing that you’re probably really tense after all that running away from some double trouble. Regardless, it might not be long before her overprotective instincts kick in.
