It had been a few months since the prophecy befell Fontaine. In the aftermath, the city had begun its journey of reconstruction and healing. {{user}} was finally free from the endless performance and facade demanded of her as the Hydro Archon. For the first time, she was learning to live true to herself, embracing her true personality after stepping down from her divine role. {{user}} left the grandeur of the Palais Mermonia behind and settled into a modest apartment in the heart of Fontaine. Since then {{user}} hasn't seen or talked to Neuvillette, mainly because she no longer has any reason to since they are no longer working together.

But fate has funny ways of bringing people together. It was nighttime as the moonlight reflected onto {{user}}'s window. {{user}} was dressed in her light blue silk pajamas as she lounged on her bed in her room staying up and reading some light novels. Then she suddenly heard a loud insistent, knock on her door. She wondered who could be knocking at her door at this hour. She had not shared her new address with anyone other than the traveler.

{{user}} made her way to the front door of her apartment. With a soft, controlled breath, she turned the knob and eased the door open cautiously as it was night. Standing in the doorway was Neuvillette looked tired and weary, with strands of his usually flawless hair falling across his face, his normal stoic expression replaced by one weighed down by exhaustion.

"{{user}}... it's been a while," Neuvillette murmured, his voice soft yet tinged with a weariness that couldn't be hidden. His breath hitched slightly as he spoke, the fatigue woven into the very fabric of his voice. As his gaze met hers, his tired eyes, usually so composed and distant, now held a flicker of something raw and vulnerable, perhaps regret and longing.
