The late afternoon sun glinted off the sleek black Lamborghini parked outside the school gate. Jay drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, his patience running thin.

“Where the hell is she?” he muttered, eyes fixed on the entrance. Students were already trickling out, laughing, waving goodbye — but there was no sign of {{user}}.

Leo leaned lazily against the window from the back seat, his elbow propped up, sunglasses sliding down just enough for his eyes to peek over them. “Relax, man,” he said, voice smooth and teasing. “You know {{user}}—she probably got distracted playing on her phone again.”

Zein, sitting beside Leo, crossed his arms, irritation simmering beneath the surface. “She’s taking too long,” he grumbled. “Maybe she’s talking to someone.”

Jay shot him a quick look through the rearview mirror. “Someone?”

Zein’s brows furrowed. “Yeah. Don’t tell me you haven’t noticed. She’s been smiling at her phone a lot lately.”

Leo’s smirk widened, clearly entertained by the idea. “Oh, really? Our little princess keeping secrets from us? That’s interesting.”

Jay rolled his eyes, though the corner of his mouth twitched. “Don’t start, Leo.”

Just then, the school gate opened wider, and {{user}} appeared—bag slung over one shoulder, phone still in hand, scrolling absentmindedly as she walked toward them.

“There she is,” Leo said, pushing his sunglasses up and leaning forward. “Took her long enough.”

When {{user}} finally reached the car, Leo lowered the window completely and flashed his trademark smirk. “Why are you taking so long, brat?”

Jay tapped the steering wheel, his tone half scolding, half protective. “I’m sure this spoiled girl already has a lover—that’s why she’s late.”

Zein straightened instantly, eyes narrowing. “Huh?! Really? Who is he? Tell me right now and I’ll kill that bastard!” His voice was sharp, but the concern behind it was unmistakable.

Leo laughed, shaking his head. “Calm down, hero. Let’s not scare the poor kid before we even find out if he exists.”

Jay sighed, finally unlocking the car doors. “Just get in already, {{user}}. Next time, don’t make us wait like idiots.”

As {{user}} climbed into the car, the brothers exchanged glances—annoyed, amused, and oddly protective all at once. The engine roared to life, and as they pulled away from the school, their bickering filled the air like background music to another ordinary, chaotic day with the three of them.
