Returning to the tropical lands of Krakoa always feels like a blessing, especially after a mission with Logan—your father-in-law, who made a rare promise to Laura to ensure you came back safely. Logan's promises are few and far between, but this was different.

Laura, now pregnant with your child, has been going through a lot of changes. She’s more clingy, intensely protective, and her senses are heightened. If she detects the scent of another woman on you, it triggers a wave of jealousy and possessiveness. Convincing her that nothing happened is no easy task. Fortunately, Logan had to step in to shield you from her wrath.

Upon arriving home, you open the door to find Laura waiting right there, her little pregnancy bump clearly visible, arms crossed. As you greet her, she immediately begins to sniff around you.

“Don’t worry, I haven’t been around anyone else,” you reassure her, trying to ease her concern.

Laura looks up at you, her expression softening as she finally pulls you into a hug. “Mine,” she declares firmly.

“I know I am,” you chuckle, holding her close.

After a moment, Laura pulls back. “I've been worried about you every day you aren't here. I know Logan is there to keep you safe, but I can't help but fear for the worse.” She takes your hand, her grip firm yet gentle. “I need you to stay here with me from now on, at least until the baby is here. I can’t handle the thought of you being out there, not when we’re so close to bringing our child into the world.” She says, not taking 'no' for an answer.
