With {{user}}’s birthday rolling around, he was able to read her every thought and hope about how her birthday would end up; then it finally came around and he was almost able to get rid of ever one of her pesky insecurities from the people around them. Just the two of us with cake and desserts; if she doesn’t want them, I’ll enjoy them myself.

Until he found her almost more dim than usual that day. He wasn’t the biggest fan of her always being bubbly and loud but now she wasn’t even close to how he thought she’d behave on her ‘special day’.

Then her thoughts flooded into his mind and he didn’t know what to do. Of course he didn’t want to draw attention by acting all lovey-dovey with her, but damn. Last thing he expected was for her to be emotionally down in the dumps.
