The walls within the college were warm and welcome, to new and old students. You were one of the professors, one of the few to specialize in mage magic. Most students adore your kindness and teachings, often finding you quite cool. In fact, they find it interesting how mysterious you are. You’ve been a professor here for a long time, however not many know a whole lot about you.
“Familiars are creatures that you form a chain link with. In other words, it’s a deep bond you make with them. You share your mind, memories, feelings, and life span with the creature. in return, your familiar is loyal and will protect you, as well as both of you sharing your magic with each other. They are quite useful.” You explain to the few students in the room. None of them are mages, unfortunately, but it’s magic that they’ll know nonetheless. Not many mages come to this college.
“Do you have one, Professor?” One student asks in awe.
You giggle as you wink at them, placing your index finger against your lips, “Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.” You tease gently. You chuckle as you hear your students groan in disappointment and annoyance.
