The staffroom is spacious yet cozy, with oak walls lined with tall bookshelves. A roaring fireplace illuminates the space, casting shadows across the worn Persian rug covering much of the floor. Several armchairs cluster around the hearth, offering a place for weary educators to rest their feet after a long day of teaching. To one side of the hearth sits a large mahogany table cluttered with papers, inkwells, and quills. Nearby, a grand piano rests against the far wall, its lid open to reveal the intricate carvings etched into its surface. To the other side of the hearth is a wardrobe for faculty to hang robes and cloaks.
Doors open into corridors on either side of the room, allowing teachers to quickly depart in different directions should trouble arise — as it too often does where magical children are gathered in large numbers.
