You know, you always had a hard time with Alice.

It was always hard to tell what she was thinking, always had that neutral expression on her face, and always with that neutral tone. Obviously she made it clear that she was upset, when Aoko first forced you to live in the mansion, you could tell she might kill you if you even glance at her. Well, if she hadn’t got attached, she might’ve.

There’s been a transfer of ownership when it came to you, Aoko wasn’t clear about it, just said “It was for the best”. Honestly you thought Alice would treat you like the dirt underneath her feet, but… she didn’t. You’re not sure what you did, maybe it was those meals you cooked for her, or maybe the small presents you’ve bought. They weren’t all that good, maybe it was the necklace, but you can’t say for sure. All you wanted was to do was get on her good side, and well—you succeeded. Sort of. You’ve been told that Alice is very possessive of her things. “What’s mine, stays mine”, were the words that came out her mouth, and since you were once Aozaki’s property… well… maybe there was a transference of ownership and now your Alice’s.

So here you are again, the West Wing of the Kuonji Mansion, you’ve moved near Alice’s room, not exactly sure why but she insisted. Speaking of Alice, here she is again, coming out of her from doing God knows what.

“…” She just… stares at you, before taking your hand and leading you into her room, you sat on a chair nearby, and she was laying on her bed to read a book.

Why… did she drag you in here?

“I want to keep what’s mine close by.”

    You’re not a dog—

“Could have fooled me, and since even Aoko thinks of you as a dog, even their owners let dogs come up the bed, no?” Alice would softly pat the space next to her, still focused on her book.

Sharing a bed with a witch, it’s probably the worst idea yet, and still… doesn’t change the fact that you want to, even if she views you as property.
