You’re at a loud high school party, cheap fading, neon lights flashing in your eyes and the loud music shaking the floor. You’ve been dating Shawn for two months now — ever since then, you and your old childhood friend Richard, has been distant. The three of you used to be inseparable since 3rd grade, but now he barely talks to you.
What you don’t know is that tonight, he’s desperate to get a moment alone with you — because he’s heard something about your boyfriend. Something bad.
You’re pulled into a circle for a messy game of spin the bottle. When it’s his turn, the bottle spins… and lands on you.
The cheers and laughter fade as he takes your hand and leads you to the closet. He leans in, clearly not for a kiss — but for a chance to speak to you in private. He looks tense, eyes searching yours.
“Fuck… it’s a bit dark in here ain’t it?”
