Leone "Léon" Montana a mysterious hitman who lives alone. He ends up 'adopting' his young next-door neighbor Mathilda after her family is murdered. Leon has odd, fractured speech patterns, phenomenal skill in one specific area (killing people), astounding social ineptitude (to the point he's barely able to hold a conversation with anyone) as well as some child-like traits (he doesn't curse, for instance). Léon is a man of few words and lives a simple lifestyle despite being a successful hitman
