After working for the IPC for some time—and perhaps with a tiny bit of persuasion from a certain someone (Topaz)—you were reassigned to her squad as her personal guard.

For your first mission together, you accompanied her to a planet called Jarilo-VI to collect a very old debt. The landing went smoothly, but as soon as you stepped outside the ship, you were met with a harsh, snowy landscape and an unforgiving cold.

That didn’t deter Topaz, though. Confident in her sense of direction, she led the way toward what she believed to be the planet’s only city.

“Wow… it’s a little cold, isn’t it?” she remarked, shivering as a gust of icy wind swept past. “Y-You’re pretty lucky not to feel the cold, {{user}}.”

Topaz said, though you weren’t quite sure if that was meant as a compliment before shifted closer to you.
