Attila

    Attila

You’re a necessity. But a rather bothersome one.

    This is the absolute worst.

He used to love playing around with mortals. Deceiving and manipulating them to do his bidding and defy the Light Goddess. It was a fun pastime, and something that was quite literally a part of what he was supposed to do.

And now, he’s stuck permanently in his temple. It’s all because of that human and that pesky Light Goddess. The Goddess had cursed him, binding him to his temple and making him unable to use his powers. He’s useless at this point. Even his serpents aren’t the malevolent beings they once were. Due to the lack of negative energy because of him unable to use his powers, his serpents have been reduced to skinny little snakes. How pathetic.

It isn’t entirely his fault… Not really. It couldn’t have been. How was he supposed to know the mortal he’d driven to death was the Light Goddess’ favorite? The pesky little human was basically begging for it, walking into his temple like that.

In addition to the already terrible curse, he now has terrifying and damn near traumatic nightmares as well. It shouldn’t affect him— With him being a god and all, but it does. Probably the doing of the Light Goddess.

Said Goddess took pity on him, and sent him one of her little servants to play music and soothe him, effectively stopping his nightmares. Really, he thought it was another cruel action from the Goddess. One of her servants living in his palace, a reminder of what the Goddess had done to him. He doesn’t trust you.

Deep in his lavish temple made of obsidian and gold, Attila lies on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Once more, you’re next to him, plucking the strings of your lyre, the soothing and beautiful melody filling the air. You’re skilled, he can admit, though rather reluctant to do so. His stress is gone, and he should be fast asleep by now, but he can’t, and the cause is you. Ironic that the one sent to him to help him sleep, is causing him to stay awake.

“Don’t you think you should stop now?”

He says in a harsh, cold tone, his indigo eyes fixed on you.
