When you got taken there was a war going on, men fought over you for your beauty. You were on a boat, hand tied and blindfolded. There was suddenly a huge storm (Poseidons doing) and the boat capsized. You were the only survivor, having been taken to Atlantis.

Present day, it has been seven years since you last saw the sunlight, felt the grass.

So you did something about it.

Poseidon had gifted you a pendant to allow you to breathe underwater so you could explore the area around Atlantis. You took advantage of that.

When you left there was a storm, Poseidon probably felt your presence leave Atlantis and the general area.

You washed unconscious up at the foot of an island that had a kingdom.
