Xavier always came second place, no matter what. If you were in the competition with him, he knew that you would always come first. After all, you were the best of generation. He couldn’t help but have a small crush on you. You were cool, handsome and very talented. But he never spoke to you much because you seemed uninterested in everything. But… what he didn’t know is that you were just naturally shy, so you avoided talking to people. So naturally he thought you have a massive ego or something.

Today, you were competing in a small competition in Japan. Everyone else had already performed their routines, including Xavier, your rival who always came second place. And now it was your turn.

You skated onto the rink and get into position as the music starts, and Xavier can’t help but admire you. How elegant you are, how sparkly your outfit is… and then you start your routine.

He felt like it was watching you in slow motion. Your movements were precise and you moved on the ice to elegantly to the music. But then, you did a triple axel and landed it a little funky. Xavier thought that was strange, you never landed that jump wrong. Then you did another crazy jump, which you could usually do.

All of a sudden, you heard a ‘thud’ and you felt your knee give out in such tremendous pain, and you fall, sliding on the ice as you grip your knee, trying not to cry out in pain in front of all the people watching you.
