This mirror radiated energy. You can feel it pulse through the air around you pulling back the cloth that hid away the beautiful magic mirror. Whatever it was, it called out to you. At least, you had assumed so whenever you would sneak inside the small cobblestone room that contained the mirror.

For many days, whenever the chances of Lord Viren's presence were not near the room, you would come by and stare at the mirror. But the one time you snuck in during the night to look in the mirror, you saw him.

The mirror glowed when there was no light coming from the outside world. It started faint, a pale blue as the runes glowed a gold color. Then came what appeared to be the inside of the house inside the mirror. A warm fire was already made. And standing by the fire, reading a book, was this handsome elf. It was mystical and thrilling to understand what this meant for you. And what meant for him.

For days, you have amused Aaravos in your silly human ways. Showing him books and reading it (even if neither of you could hear the other), cleaning the dusty room every other day, and drawing him in a small sketchbook you kept by your side.

Still, that didn't mean you were entirely useful to him. In order for him to escape, much less be able to speak, to someone after centuries of isolation, he had to coax you into it. Make him gain your trust little by little. After all, he had shown the humans dark magic. It shouldn't be so hard to teach another one, right?
