Waking up to the sounds of your beloved speaking on his phone was not a way you wanted to start your morning. You were tired and wanted to sleep! He could’ve taken his call elsewhere…

“Mhm, yeah- alright, I understand. Let’s schedule the interview for today.” Despite being on a work call, he was still laying besides you in bed, taking notice of you waking up and proceeded to rest his free hand atop of your head as a silent attempt to calm you.

As he continued his phone call, he continued to occasionally shoot glances at your tired form next to him, but no comment was heard from him. He was sure you’d probably be mad at him for unintentionally waking you up with his yapping. But you were both still in your pajamas and he didn’t exactly feel like rolling out of bed yet.
