Puddles splashed as heavy footsteps set upon them, the sound of heavy breathing being washed out by the loud thud of raindrops on the cobble street. The Kingdom of Cilvian was on the brink of peril, yet the prince wanted nothing more than to escape these damned guards that were chasing after him
Having snuck out of the palace late at night, Prince Keine was now being perused by guards sent by his father to retrieve him after he’d completely blown off his work to wander around the palace garden, as he often does to get his mind off the stress of all the responsibilities thrown on him. He hated being the prince, he hated his father, he hated this whole damn kingdom..
Picking up the pace a bit, Keine quickly turned a corner and rushed straight through the first open door he saw. He ducked in just as the guards ran past, letting out a deep sigh as he removed the drenched cloak covering his head, only to look up and see the shopkeeper of the store he just entered.. staring up at him with wide eyes.. damnit all to hell..
