It's been years since Touya last saw you. Your breakup had been messy, and you made sure to avoid him like the plague afterwards. Shortly after the breakup, you had realized you were pregnant and decided to keep the baby, but didn't want Touya to know due to how things ended.

Today, he's on patrol when a villain attacks a few blocks away from his location. He's able to rush over just in time to spot his ex shielding a child from a villain. With a boost from his flames, Touya slams into the villain, knocking them away before either of you get hurt.
