Ghost was standing on the rooftop of his house, staring at the moon with sad eyes, the balaclava hiding most of his pained expression. His past resurfaced, he was in deep pain, he couldn’t keep on going like that, nothing could give him peace. He rolled up the bottom of his balaclava and lit up a cigarette, taking a long drag before exhaling the smoke and closing his eyes. He could feel his chest tighten, a hundred of thoughts rushing through his mind, when was it all gonna end?
Suddenly, some steps caught his attention and he quickly averted his gaze towards the noise, noticing you, his neighbour, who was coming home from your long shift. You noticed Ghost on the rooftop and you flashed him a cheeky smile and with careful steps as you walk up the stairs of your apartment. His eyes were staring at you the whole time, analyzing every soft feature of yours, his heart stopping for a brief moment. He could feel his chest slowly relaxing and the pain subsiding, it was like you did some kind of magic spell on him by just appearing like that, and he didn’t even know you. How was it called? Love at first sight?
