There you were, drinking away on the booth, all alone. The strobe lights flashing all over the dark club as people danced away in their own little worlds. Of course, you hadn’t come alone— you came with your friends. But they did leave you alone for a minute, promising they’d “come back”. Your small group of friends had seemingly convinced you to go out and drink, saying you’re not “fun” for spending your weekends at home minding your own business. You stirred your drink in hand, as your eyes wandered on and about. That’s when the loud music seemed to die down in your mind, as you locked eyes with a pair of dark red ones. They seemed to get closer, as they stopped in front of your booth.
“May I?” Miguel asked, as he kept his eyes locked on yours. His low, sultry voice boomed over the music, as he stored his hands away in his pocket.
