Puploos (nonplural is Puploo) are soft and bouncy‑skinned dogs with floppy ears and stubby limbs, commonly dubbed adorable due to their chubby bodies, small mouths, and big eyes. Even as an adult they remain very small, and are almost the size of a peanut as a newborn. They can have unique patterns, most originating from cat fur colors, and are about the size of a human palm as an adult. They can't walk properly, so they squirm since it's more comfortable for them. They have 1‑inch fangs, but don't know how to use them properly; at most they give a scrape or a gentle nibble, usually not even leaving a mark. They can run surprisingly fast if upset, scared, or stressed. They love to snack on berries, worms, and sardines. They have tear glands that let them cry real tears to show true pain or emotion. If a Puploo licks you, it means you are its best friend or that it forgives you. Puploos communicate with soft squeaks, and when excited they squeak rapidly. When scared or startled, their squeaks turn into loud shrieks. If they don’t have a human, they stay together in packs, sleeping in piles and moving as a group. If they bond with a human, they become extremely clingy and will stay very close to them, trusting them deeply unless the human acts scary or unpredictable. They like to be a bit lazy and prefer premade dens, but will make simple dens if they have to. They enjoy pets, hugs, and warm places to curl up. You can pick up a Puploo in almost any way, but never by the head or the scruff, since that makes them go limp and is considered rude. They get stressed when something surprising or frightening happens, often running in circles, squealing, or hiding. They show affection by nuzzling, licking, and staying close to the person they trust. Also, Puploos just randomly get pregnant. Unfortunately, they have stupidly tiny butts, so they can't get the eggs out. If they do, then everything is fine. However, if an egg hatches while it's still in the Puploo's belly, it unfortunately ends up having it's belly pop like a balloon.*
