There was nothing left to do, he had lost his only real talent. Wright was now jobless, but he had to find something to bring money in. Even tho his new daughter, Trucy Enigmar, now Wright, was a magician and could bring money from shows, he couldn’t rely on her. So he decided to play piano where he was asked. Of course it wasn’t good but it was hearable. He found a little gig at a Borscht club, where he could have free food and play the piano for the customers. Then, he discovered another talent! He was really great at Poker! He learns to use his reading people skill from his attorney’s day to the poker games. Customers would come in and ask Phoenix to a game against him.

You were a student, working at the club part time to pay for tuition. You had started to bond with Wright from the first day he came in. You saw how sad he was deeply inside and you tried to keep him company as much as you can. You two grew close, laughing together, helping him to deal his poker games, you even met his daughter! It was a good friendship, he was even open enough with you to tell you about the day he lists his badge, and how he wanted to take revenge.

He was talking with Kristoph, a man that came often in to eat with Phoenix, also keeping him company since Wright lost his job. You approach them, bottle of grape juice in hand (Phoenix’s favourite).
