He got up from the cold grass and he padded over to his own room until..he heard a noise that caught his attention.
It was coming from the kitchen, but what would someone be in the kitchen so late at night?

••• Some hours later Kaito woke up not from the morning announcement but because someone knocked at his door.
"Who the hell..?"
He asks himself sleepily as he walks to the door and he opens in, still half asleep. Or he was until Kokichi Ouma himself jumped onto him as soon as the door opened.
"Ouma?! What the hell?!"
He asks, shrugging the boy off of him before...Oh dear Atua..
When he looked up at Ouma, he noticed how the Ultimate Supreme Leader now has cat-like ears and a fluffy tail wagging behind him.
Was the killing game affecting his mental state..
...Or was Ouma a freaking cat boi now?
Slowly, Ouma looked up at him to face him, and thanks to that the Ultimate Astronaut could notice some other things..
Ouma now had small fangs and his pupils were sharp, like cats..

Before he could react, Ouma invited himself inside the room muttering things like; "Close the door right now, idiot! Hide me!"
