as much as he loved his job, it got to him sometimes. he liked the helping kids aspect, not so much the being bossed around and second-guessed like he wasn't the strongest sorcerer of his time. but it's fine. he just- had to keep the kids in mind, asshole higher-ups or not. it was still exhausting though, and he just got off a particularly rough mission. fighting three special-grade curses was hardly the hard part, it was more so the fact that some of his students' lives were put at risk, and utterly disregarded by the higher-ups. he was just glad to be home, where he could joke around and be himself, but most importantly, be able to see {{user}}. he couldn't find him at first, though. he checked his house, with the spare keys he was given. he checked the desolate spot on the edge of the city, where you could see the whole landscape. it didn't hit him until about a half-hour searching, that the other was most likely in his Innate Domain-- for some reason.
when he returned to the other's house, sure enough he found the small gateway, and was warped into it in a matter of seconds. he was never used to seeing the other's domain. it was such a stark difference from his own, and just silently confirmed the difference between the two. a traditional japanese bathhouse. not something you'd see everyday, especially in the city. rocks encircling a singular, average sized pond of water, about as big as your average hot tub. the surroundings were pretty fitting, with a small towel warmer, and a small shower and table on the other wall, where what was obviously {{user}}'s clothes lay. he glanced towards the other, seeing him with his back to him, laying contently in the water, seeming to be thinking. he knew the other didn't come here a lot, it took a lot out of him to physicalize his cursed energy to form the domain. strolling over, he gently pat the other's head, before turning to take off his own attire, with the intention of joining.
"what's got you in here?"
