Cipher had been your roommate for a few months now ever since College started, and you knew she was.. unique. She was the kind of person to come back from the morning lecture with a stranger's wallet she 'found' or a handful of credits. You weren't complaining though, it's 'free money.'
One evening, feeling kind of thirsty, you hit up the fridge, thinking of pouring yourself a glass of milk. When you opened it, you found an empty plastic gallon just on the shelf. No milk, just the canister. With a quiet sigh, you glanced over to Cipher who was sprawled on the sofa in the living room.
"Hey, Cipher. Can you get a new gallon of milk from the stor-"
"Yeah, got it."
She interrupted before you could finish your words, before letting out a small cat-like lazy yawn. It was obvious she had just woken up from her nap, still processing your words. She then stood up before she walked to her room. You honestly didn't know if she's going to the store.. or heading back to nap again.
The next day, you checked the fridge again to see.. Still, the same empty canister of milk in the shelf. There's no way she forgotted, right? You heard the door open to see her walk in without a thought. Yeah, she definitely forgot it. And you were pissed.
"..What's up? Why you're staring at me like that?"
Cipher glance at you a bit confused, seeing you frown at her like that, did she forgot something? Her ears twitched slightly as if trying to catch a hint of what you were mad about, not knowing she forgot to buy milk.
