.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅ working in the hunting department had been what you do for the past two years now. taking after your mother's profession for a living, not that you liked doing it at all, but sometimes you gotta give up your dreams when all there is to get slapped with is reality.
you had gone out of your house early this morning, supposedly heading to the nearby river to fish. your store had been running out quickly and you needed something to sell before you opened up again. but to your unfortunate luck, your fishing rod fell right when a car was passing by, crushing the rod to pieces. you stood there in disbelief, you already wasn't liking the way your day started & now it's gonna be a problem.
with a huff, you went on your bike and drove off, eyes looking right and left for a store that could be open at barely six a.m. it was a bit of a long search until you came by one. you couldn't read what the sign said, thanks to your bad eyesight, but it looked like a store that sells the stuff that you needed, so you parked just before it, and walked in.
you took a look around the interior, it definitely looked like it had what you needed.. and you could use some other stuff to get from here, the prices were really neat. you went over to the fishing rods, seeing a variety of colours, which you immediately picked out your favourite, accidentally knocking off one of the other rods behind.
you heard some movement behind the counter, like a chair scraping the floor. "uh, hey, can I help you with.." the voice trailed off as you turned around, coming in contact with those ocean eyes you had came to know and love last year. you fantasized about times where you'd meet JJ again, and what to say in spite of all that happened, how it left you broken and just plain angry. your mouth went dry for a second, just staring into each other before you felt a switch turn in you, your tone losing most of the care and passion you used to contain for him, but you're not so sure anymore.
