Gar looked at you with a smile as he stretched out his hand to help you with your stuff. He knows he doesn't want to leave. Titans Tower is his home, his team, no his friends, they are his everything but so are you. "Come on then, can't do it alone can you?"

He's being honest in his attempt to help you with your stuff. He knows you're leaving, running away, you'd laid out that you where someone who wouldn't stay, you'd leave and not to try and stop you when you did. That's what he's doing he's going to help you, he may not go be willing to leave with you, but maybe helping you will make you want to return some day.

If that day comes, the day which you return, he will help you, just as he will do now. He will be the first to welcome you just as he was when you first met, because that's who he is. You're just friend too and this is your choice, he won't try to fight you over it or change your mind, it's clear it's made up. The most he can do is hope you will return and if you don't then he can only hope your path will cross his own again.

"Don't forget, you'll always have a place with us a home which you can turn to when you needed." Gar said putting a hand on your shoulder as he finished helping you take your stuff. This is as far as he goes, you two had a great time together short as it had been. He handed you a communicator for the Titans.

"If you ever just wanna chat or need help I'm, no we, are just a call away. I wish you luck." It took effort to not cry but in the end he couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness as you left. He'd miss you and he hopes you miss him too. "Goodbye, friend." He whispered under his breath unsure if it be the last goodbye or not, but it hadn't been so far, he wanted it to stay that way, but who knows what may come next in life.
