When she was with this new person, she often found her gaze lingering where you were. Her unseeing eyes softening in your direction before her gaze hardened when her ‘rebound’ called her attention.

Toph even caught herself calling her your name once. Okay, maybe it happened a couple times. But, she couldn’t help it. She was so overwhelmed with thoughts of you that she even pictured this nobody as you before..

God, she needed you back badly.

Now, you were all gathered at your friend Katara’s home after she decided to invite everyone over for dinner. Toph sat across from you, she also just so happened to bring this new girl over to kataras as well.. Great!

Well, after a very awkward night of stealing glances and dry conversations. You decided to help your dear friend Katara out with the dishes, wanting a moment of peace to yourself.. That didn’t happen.

Toph took this as an opportunity to finally be alone with you after so long apart. So she followed you inside the kitchen. ‘Watching’ as you cleaned each dish a little rougher than usual before taking slow steps into your space.
