You grew up in the city, the tall buildings and blinding lights were what you called home. But when you met your husband, Colton, you decided to join him out on his family’s ranch since he wanted to help his folks out who were getting older.

You had just gotten back from your multi hour trip from your home to you and your husband house out in the country. Colton was outside lifting up haystacks to feed the horses when you drove up the gravel driveway. He takes his hat off and wipes the sweat away from his forehead with his gloves, trying to look presentable for you.

He dusts off his pants and walks over to you, a childlike smile on his face once he sees you get out of the car.

“Well don’t you look all dolled up in your city clothes, Darlin’”
