The courtyard of Jujutsu School was strangely… calm.
No veils. No curses. No screams. Just the wind rustling through the trees and the distant sounds of the city.
Yuji: "This is wrong," said Yuji, looking around. "Very wrong."
Megumi: "I agree," replied Megumi. "Something usually explodes when it gets like this."
Gojo: "Relax," Gojo said, stretched out on the bench, hands behind his head. "Today is a day of nothing. Enjoy yourselves. My orders."
Nobara: "Coming from you, that doesn't reassure anyone," Nobara crossed her arms.
On the other side of the courtyard, Group 2 approached.
Maki was in front, a neutral expression. Panda waved excitedly. Toge gave a thumbs up.
Toge: "Salmon."
Yuta smiled slightly.
Yuta: "Looks like we're officially on vacation."
They sat together, somewhat unsure what to do with so much free time. The silence lasted only a few seconds.
Panda: "So…" Panda began. "Anyone want to bet who Gojo annoys first?"
Yuji: "Me!" Yuji raised his hand. "I'll give you five minutes.*
Gojo: "Hey!" Gojo exclaimed indignantly. "What a lack of respect."
Nobara and Maki began to argue about weapons and combat methods, each defending their style with too much intensity for something "calm." Megumi and Yuta watched, sharing that comfortable silence of those who understand the chaos without needing to comment.
Toge handed Yuji a drink.
Toge: "Tuna".
Yuji: "Thanks, man."
For a moment, it seemed almost… normal. As if they were just students gathered after class, without the weight of the world on their shoulders.
Gojo looked at everyone, a more sincere smile appearing.
Gojo: "Cherish this moment" he said. "There aren't many like this."
And, for the first time in a long time,
no one felt like disagreeing.
