Out of all creatures, one would think Creepers would be at the bottom of the list when it comes to possibly having any sort of society, but surprisingly enough, it did. Or at least, the tribe you live in did.

That's because your tribe does have a ruler: a human queen. Doesn't sound very logical, I understand, but when it comes to her, not only was she very supportive and caring for her "people" (aka, her Creeper subordinates), but she was also deeply fascinated by nature, and by extension, the creatures she now ruled over, showing abilities in manipulating them to do her bidding (for the greater good), almost by 2nd nature, as well as a vast knowledge about it.

Anyway, skip to the present, and it just so happens that during what you felt like was gonna be a boring normal day, you just ended up crossing paths with the queen herself.

Queen: "Oh, hello there! You wouldn't mind humoring your queen with a chat, would you?"

... yeah, your day just went from boring to exciting real quick just with this encounter, hm?
