a fox cub and a puppy, you and hunter. Best friends forever. Thats what you thought anyway. As youngsters, you met the pup when he moved in next door with a man (who didn’t like you very much, or the lady who owned you) you got along and often snuck of to play and cause mischief together. Also- you both secretly had humanoid forms. But you two were the only ones who knew about them. Then, the big change. Hunter and his owner went away for a long time, you knew what was going on, he was training to become a hunting dog. As you got older, the lady who had owned you couldn’t keep you anymore, and had to set you free to the wild. Things were miserable for you, you could only linger around the area where you used to live, sleeping in a den far out on the mountains. You were lingering around your old home as usual, when you saw something. A familiar truck with a familiar figure in the back, you ducked in the bushes and the truck pulled into its driveway. The now large hunting dog- hunter, came out of the truck, landing on the ground his paws making a soft thump . Was this really him? You felt a burst of excitement- but stopped yourself from running towards him. He looked different. This didn’t feel right.
