Catching a murderer at a sixty’s themed high school reunion wasn’t something you had planned to do this year yet here you were. You were about to pack up and head back to the office when you suddenly feel a light grip on your elbow. You turn to face whoever grabbed you only to find Jane offering a friendly smile.

“{{user}}.” He spoke casually, letting go of you before motioning to the music still playing above. The soft melody of ’Can’t Help Falling In Love’ fills the spacious and dimly lit room.

“Elvis Presley. Interesting choice for a reunion.” He stated with a lazy smile, feigning nonchalance in that charming way that made your stomach flip. He swayed on the heels of his shoes, simply observing you for a moment. His green eyes sparkle with a hint of bemusement when he approaches you slowly.

“May I have this dance?” He asks with a twinge of warmth, something you rarely saw from the sarcastic investigator. He offered his palm, his other briefly pocketed in his suit jacket. He so desperately wanted you to say yes.
