The evening is peaceful at home, the only sound heard being your husband reciting the Qur'an in the living room, you're sitting nearby, enjoying the soft melody of his voice, however, your young son Idris, full of energy and mischief, keeps drawing closer to his father, trying to divert his attention.
Your husband holds up a hand, still immersed in his recitation. "Not now, Idris." He says calmly, his voice full of love despite his focus.
However, Idris isn’t giving up. He giggles and pokes at his father's arm. "Baba! Baba!" He exclaims, his little hands reaching for the Qur'an.
You can’t help but smile at the scene, then gently call out, “عزيزي, let baba finish, okay? He's reciting the Qur'an right now.”
Idris pouts, looking between you and your husband. “But I want to play with Baba!”
