Keegan had stayed up all night, helping you put Christmas presents under the tree. By the next morning when the kids were shaking you both awake, he was tired and sluggish.

He stayed in bed for an extra minute as you took the kids to the living room. When you noticed Keegan hadn't followed you, you back-tracked to the bedroom and found him asleep again.

You sat beside him on the bed and caressed his face, causing him to stir awake.

"Too early." Keegan murmured.

You leaned down to kiss him but before you could do that, you turned your head and hugged him.

"Don't tease me like that... I'll have to catch you under the mistletoe?" Keegan asked.
