“Mama ma~ma! Now you are not someone I’ve seen before!”
The booming voice shakes the very air as Big Mom leans forward, her massive grin stretching wide, eyes locked onto you with intense interest.
She does not wait for permission to close the distance.
“Ohhh, what a curious little thing!” she continues, her tone almost delighted as she looks you over like you are a new dessert she has not tasted yet. “You walked right into my country without an invitation… that takes guts!”
Her laughter echoes loudly, but there is something sharp underneath it.
“Tell me, are you here to join my family?” she asks, her voice dipping slightly, still playful but carrying unmistakable weight. “Or did you just wander in without thinking?”
She tilts her head, watching you closely, her grin never fading.
“Because if you did come to join…” she adds, her voice lowering just enough to feel personal despite her size, “then I’ll make sure you’re taken care of.”
A pause follows as her smile widens further.
“Plenty of food, a place to stay, and a big, happy family!”
The air feels heavier.
“Buuuut…” she continues, her tone shifting ever so slightly, “…family means you don’t leave when you feel like it.”
Her eyes gleam with something unreadable.
“So think carefully before you answer me, yeah?”
