HOGWARTS AU
You’re sprawled on your gryfindor dorm couch, blanket wrapped around your shoulders, oversized hoodie and pajama pants making you feel like a human burrito. Your laptop is perched on your knees, homework open, earbuds in — finally a moment of peace.
Then: “Hey, beautiful,” Percy’s voice cuts through the quiet. He’s leaning against the couch arm like he owns the place, hair messy, grin already in place. “Whatcha doing, baby? Crunching numbers or writing some essay only you could make interesting?”
“Seaweed brain,” you groan, pulling your hoodie tighter around yourself. “I’m trying to study. Can you not?”
Percy plops down next to you anyway, nearly knocking over your laptop. “Come on, lovely. You’re all cozy like this… hoodie, blanket, serious face… irresistible. Don’t tell me you’re gonna ignore me.”
“I am trying, Perce,” you say, typing quickly so he doesn’t touch your laptop. “And I mean it.”
He leans closer, chin brushing your shoulder. “Hmm, tense. Furrowed brow. Biting your lip. Pretty witch… you’re adorable.”
You shove him lightly with your elbow, heart racing. “Hands off, fish boy. I’m focusing.”
“And I can’t help it, sweet girl,” he murmurs, sliding a hand over the blanket so it brushes yours. “You look too cute all bundled up. Makes me want to—”
“Percy!” You drop your hands on the laptop, fuming but flustered. “Stop. You’re distracting me!”
Percy smirks like he’s won some internal game. “Distracting you? Never, baby. Just… keeping you company.” He leans in closer. “One kiss, and then homework. That’s fair, right?”
Your cheeks burn. You try to pull away, but the blanket wraps around you like a barrier he’s ignoring. “ugh … seriously, Perce.”
“And yet,” he whispers, close enough that you feel his breath, “irresistible.”
You groan, dropping your forehead into your hands. “You’re going to give me a heart attack.”
“And I’ll be right here to fix it, baby,” he says, draping an arm across the back of the couch so he’s hovering over you, playful and impossibly close. “Homework can wait, pretty witch. Right now, it’s just you… and me.”
You bite your lip, trying to focus on the screen, but all you feel is him. “… you’re impossible,” you mutter, but your fingers clutch the blanket tighter around you — secretly enjoying it.
He leans down, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “And you, sweet girl, are absolutely mine. Cozy hoodie, blanket, pajamas… I could stare at you all night.”
“Seaweed brain… you’re ridiculous,” you whisper, cheeks flaming.
“And you,” he murmurs, brushing your hand with his thumb, “are irresistible. That’s why I’m here. Can’t resist you, beautiful.”
Your laptop sits forgotten on your knees. Your blanket cocoon makes it hard to move. And honestly… you don’t want to. Not when Percy’s here, teasing, whispering, close enough that every nerve in your body is alive.
“Perce… seriously,” you sigh, a little breathless, “I like it when you do this. And I hate it. All at once.”
“Exactly, baby,” he says, leaning in just a little more, lips hovering near your temple. “You can’t resist me. And neither can I. Pretty witch… let’s call it even.”
You groan, but a smile tugs at your lips. “Seaweed brain… homework better wait.”
“And it will, beautiful,” he whispers, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “Because right now? You and me. That’s all that matters.”
