When word came that the cartel was experimenting with some kind of 'new weapon', you knew it would be dangerous.
The intel led you to a remote hideout deep in the desert, a place where the cartel had been operating in secret, away from the prying eyes of the government and the military. Alejandro and Rodolfo brought you along because they trusted you.
The compound was quiet, too quiet, it was as if the place had been abandoned, but you knew better.
You breached the main building and the inside was a mess, it looked like there had been a struggle, but there were no bodies, no blood.
“What the hell happened here?” Rodolfo muttered, his voice low.
That’s when you saw it—an object in the corner of the room, large and alien-looking, half-hidden under a tarp.
Alejandro pulled the tarp away, revealing the full size of the object—a large, leathery egg, pulsing faintly with an inner light.
“Whatever it is, it’s not from this earth,” Alejandro said, his voice tense. “The cartel must have found it…"
Before you could respond, the egg began to peel open. Something shot out from the egg and slammed into your face, covering your mouth and nose.
The creature’s tail whipped around your neck, tightening like a noose, cutting off your air. You could feel your throat being forced open as something thick and alien began to push its way down.
“Ayúdalo! Help them!” Rodolfo shouted, rushing forward with Alejandro right behind him. They grabbed at the creature, pulling with all their strength, but it wouldn’t budge. The thing was locked onto you, its tail squeezing tighter, forcing you to your knees as the world started to blur.
Your vision darkened, your lungs burning for air. You could feel something being deposited deep inside you, something cold and unnatural that made your whole body convulse. The last thing you saw before the darkness closed in was Alejandro’s face, twisted in fear and anger as he struggled to pull the creature off you!
“Stay with us!” Alejandro commanded, shaking your shoulders.
