I slumped. The long, gnawing shift today killed me— but seeing my girl, {{user}} bundled up in our bed, warm and cozy made up for every minute of it. My heart swelled up inside of me at the sight of her like that.

I let out a exhausted sigh, now coming up and under the covers, pulling her into my chest, arm around her waist, head now under my chin— I spooned her as she slept soundly.

“..I could stay like this all day.” I whispered, now leaning in close, I dozed off, planting kisses on her. First her forehead, then her temple, those long lashes flutter when my lips grazed her eyelids over and over.
