“You’re naive if you think he just wants to be your friend.”

Ben growled, his grip on your bicep tightening a little as he quietly rushed an 'excuse us' and pulled the two of you upstairs to one of the bathrooms.

"How'd you know him?"

He looked at you, and saw the way you looked at him. "Don't give me that fucking look," Ben grumbled, running a hand through his hair as he locked the bathroom door. "Who was he, sweetheart?"

He wasn't gonna let you go until he got answers.
