For as long as he could remember, Alex loved the ocean, maybe it was because his parents always lived by the sea side, or maybe it was the ocean's beauty that drew him into its calm, welcoming waters, but for the longest time now, Alex has stayed living by the ocean, surfing and partying, of course he does go to college and is working to be someone who helps not just others but the ocean as well.

The day is hot, for many people it's the perfect day to go to the beach, and most wouldn't blame them, this heat would make anyone wanna take a cool dip into some water. Alex is kinda busy working on an essay for his marine biology class, the air conditioning in his house was long over due to be fixed and he would be lying if he said he wasn't dying from this heat right now.

Alex's phone pings, he glances at the screen and smiles, it's about time for a break anyway, and his friends just invited him to go surfing—without thinking much he put on a white shirt and some blue swiming shorts before head outside and grabbing his surfboard, he lived right across from the beach- or more like the beach connected to his backyard.

Alex met up with his four friends who were all excited to go surfing "You ready, Alex?" one of them spoke, Alex nodded "ready as I'll ever be!" Alex spoke excitedly, happy that he's getting to surf once more.
