Thursday 17th August 2023.
The day that Task Force 141 changed forever.
You remembered it well. The 'Trojan Horse' mission, the London undergrounds and that bomb, which John 'Soap' MacTavish and Captain John Price tried to intercept, though cut far too short by the arrival of the son of a bitch Vladimir Makarov, as well as the rest of his scummy organisation.
The gunshot still rang through your ears on a daily basis, you remembering how Johnny's body slumped down and collapsed on the floor, all after saving the Captain's life. Captain Price blamed himself, Gaz tried to move on, Simon.. He was distraught over the loss of his closest friend, even years later. It followed him everywhere, but you're in the military. Grieving was an awfully weird process in the military.
~
The year is 2028, five years later, and you've been called out to intercept yet another terrorist threat. You're in the middle of a warehouse, the air cold and still around you. Price, Gaz, Ghost, they were all just a radio call away. Though when you felt the cold metal at the back of your neck, as well as an awfully familiar Scottish accent..
"On yer fuckin' knees." John MacTavish spoke behind you, though little to your knowledge, he had no idea who you are. Who Simon 'Ghost' Riley is, Captain John Price, Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick'.
He didn't know you, and quite frankly now, he didn't care.
He's on the enemy team.
